Meet Dr. Tom Stinchfield

“I am constantly amazed at the difference that quality dental care can make in an individual’s confidence and self-perception, and I am grateful to be an integral part of that process.” – Dr. Tom Stinchfield

Dr. Tom S. Stinchfield is passionate about his work as a dentist. He loves how he is able to make a difference in his patients' lives through gentle, effective dental care and treatments. More than that, though, he thrives on the personal interactions with his patients, getting to know each person as an individual who has a life far beyond the treatment chair. Dr. Tom enjoys his time talking with his patients, catching up on the happenings in their lives, and sharing stories, jokes, and laughter. He has a great rapport with his patients, and sets them at ease during treatments. He is always available to answer questions, discuss treatment processes and options, and reassure those who are feeling a bit intimidated.

Prior to joining Discovery Dental, Dr. Tom served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy, in San Diego, CA, and in Okinawa, Japan. He speaks highly of the chance to serve those military personnel who protect our country and what an honor it was to provide the dental care they needed.

Their Boston Terrier, Rogue, is often trailing the family wherever they go.  Dr. Tom loves to stay physically active. He enjoys cross-fit, biking, running, and is an avid rock climber. However, his favorite times are those spent at home with his family.
