Supporting Our Washougal Community
School Visits
Every February, in celebration of Children’s Dental Health Month, they take time outside of the office to visit all the local elementary school students, to provide oral hygiene education, and send each child home with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss.
Stride for Education
They are proud to be the title sponsor for the Washougal Schools Foundation’s Student Stride for Education, a fun run and 5K run/walk for the community. Proceeds from this family-friendly event provide opportunities for Washougal students via teacher grants from the Washougal Schools Foundation. These grants fund programs and projects that otherwise would not be available.
Veterans Day Event
Dr. Dave and Dr. Tom are both veterans of the US Navy. They feel it is important to give back to those who have given so much in the name of our country. 2019 was Discovery Dental’s first annual Veterans Day Event, where our doors were opened to Veterans for free dental service.
