Dr. David J. Stinchfield loves his work as a dentist. He looks forward to going into the office each morning, knowing that he will be able to make a positive difference in his patients' lives. Dr. Dave sees himself not just as a dental services provider, but as someone who is here to assist his patients in achieving their dental goals. His role is to provide the patient with the dental care and treatment options that will achieve his or her desired results, and answer any questions and offer the information that each patient needs in order to make educated decisions. Providing gentle, pain-free dental care, Dr. Dave’s desire is to make certain that each of his dental patients feels at home and comfortable at Discovery Dental.

Dr. Dave is passionate about pursuing continuing education in his professional field. In addition, he is an instructor for CEREC® CAD-CAM restorations. He regularly takes courses in implant surgery, restoration, and orthodontics, knowing the importance of staying at the front of dental technology and advances in treatment options. Because he takes continuing education coursework, Dr. Dave is able to offer his dental patients the most effective, proven dental treatment options.

Dr. Dave lives in Washougal, WA, along with his wife, Adina. The couple has three sons, Isaac, Taylor, and Parker, and a daughter named Morgan. The family also has a pet Boston terrier, called Chief. While time with his family is always a priority, Dr. Dave is also passionate about staying active. He enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, and camping, in addition to competing in marathons. He has completed the Hood to Coast and other long-distance relay runs, along with triathlons.
Also active in the community, Dr. Dave has volunteered as a scoutmaster and thoroughly enjoys working with youth in the community. He sponsors multiple youth sports teams in soccer, softball, and baseball. Additionally, he visits local elementary schools to teach the students how to properly take care of their teeth and about the importance of good oral hygiene.
